cerclage removal

I was wondering how many moms out there have had a cerclage and how soon after it was removed did you go into labor? I get mine out Monday, I'll be 36 wks and 1 day. Excited, yet nervous.

I hope all goes well. I to had a cerclage placed as well and I get it out on 12/12/14. My doctor said to have my bags packed when I come to that appointment. Please keep us posted on how things go. Sending prayers.

Hey I just got cerclage done,and was wondering does it hurt when they take it out?

I've read on other forums that it doesn't hurt. I get mine out tomorrow so I will let you know.

Dr. Postponed my cerclage removal till the 1st. He does weekly checks and said he'd like me to make it to 37 wks. Or longer. He's expecting me to dilate some because she's head down, right there, and says my cervix is really soft, so we'll see :)

Sending prayers! Hopefully you can keep the little one in a little longer!! Keep us posted. I go tomorrow for my doctor to check the cervix,  at my last appointment she said it was starting to thin. Do you take any kind of progesterone?

In my previous pregnancy, I had my cerclage removed at 37wks. It was a bit painful, but not that bad. I felt cramps for the next 2 days. Didn't go into labor. I was induced at 39+3 wks. For this pregnancy I'm also having my cerclage removed at 37 wks.

I take progesterone 200mg vaginal inserts nightly. My high risk doc said they prefer those over the shots because their right up against the cervix. Since I made it to 30 weeks I now just see my OB doc. Every week. My husband and I laugh everyone thinks we'll go early but I'll probably end up going late. 25 more days till my actual due date!  :)

I also take progesterone but it is injection form. So did the doctor take out your cerclage?  How are you feeling? Sending prayers.  I will have mine removed on friday 12/12.
