Blocked milk duct?

I have a blocked milk duct and not sure what to do. What have others done?

No just put it on cold out of the fridge I have heard green works better than purple cabbage! Hope this helps

Thanks sveryoneM I did what you suggested and it is much better, almost gone. What a relief! I was worried that it was going to turn into something worse.

When you nurse also do compressions and try to nurse in different positions to clear the duct.

I agree with the above, and just keep an eye on it in case it turns into mastitis. You will get a red mark on your breast and feel like you're getting a fever, you'll need antibiotics. I was told to make sure when you feed baby to make sure he completely empties one breast before starting on the next. Oh, and congrats on your little boy!!! Can't wait til its my turn.

Hot showers or warm compresses and massaging your breast that is blocked is what I was told when I had a blocked duct.
