Body temperature

Is there anyone else suffering from severe body heat at night?  My husband won't even cuddle with me because I am so hot.  He calls me "lava legs" and it's MISERABLE!   Help!

It's most likely normal and due to an increase in your metabolism with pregnancy. I get hot too. But I thought I'd mention that you can also "heat up" if your blood sugars are too high and you are an undiagnosed type 2 diabetic or have gestational diabetes. So if you have other symptoms during the day and haven't done your gestational diabetes drink test yet that is also a possibility. That happened to me with my first pregnancy.

That makes sense. I've often wondered if I may be type 2 diabetic. My father was until he passed suddenly in January. I have tingling bee sting like pains in my feet and typically gain a TON of weight with my pregnancies. (70 pounds both times). I'm terrified of going through the same thing again. I just lost over fifty pounds prior to finding out I was pregnant with our surprise baby.  I'm hoping that it helps I'm starting off at 130 versus 175!

Mine too, I'm super hot at night and have night sweats too. I didn't do this with the first one.

Lol. Same here! My hubby says the same thing. It's like I'm on fire. He says when I cuddle up against him he wakes up from the heat and sweat.
