placenta previa experiences?

I recently have been told that I have placenta previa and am currently 20 weeks. I teach martial arts for a living and am very physically active. This is my fourth child (and a rainbow child at that). I've read (and not too extensively so I don't develop a Google know-it-all mentality or self diagnose) that if this condition does not correct itself by the 26th week that I may have to cease my physical activities (which isn't an issue aside from the loss of my job.) Does anyone have any personal experiences with this condition? Thank you!

I was told at 20 weeks that I had placenta previa, but my doctor told me try not to stress because it will most likely correct itself. My hubby and I went in this past Monday to have it checked and it has moved to the correct position which is posterior. Try not to stress as this is very common at 20 weeks and will usually correct itself.

Thank you, ladies! I go in March 25th for an U/S to see what's going on. It's been stressful considering the work factor but I'd much rather have a healthy baby than my hobby-turned-job anyday. Again, I appreciate your info!

I don't want to scare you with my story. But mine is a very rate one and most do move. But I would say don't do anything to active or have sex I was never told not to but my bleeds all happen after. If you do want my full story I will tell but it is a bit long.

Currently in the same situation. Im 29 weeks and was told i had full pp at my 20 week anatomy scan. I was put on pelvic rest and was told to take it easy to try and prevent any hemrroging. Ive been blessed and have had no complications. I just had a follow-up ut at my 28 week visit and will know the results at ky 31 week apt when i see the doc again. But he urged me not to get my hopes up because my placenta is completely centered over my cervix which decreases my odds of it having moved. If in fact it hasnt moved i will have a scheduled c-section at 39 weeks permitting everything keeps going good. If any complications do arise i will deliver sooner. Ive kinda also been told that bleeds can occur spontaneously and that they cant all be prevented and if i do have one it doesn't necessarily mean i caused it nor could I have prevented it. Hope this helps a bit if any.
