I need a answer

Everytime I walk I have a sharp like pain close to my pelvic area where it meets my legs. Is that part of tje contraction process or is that normal? My stomach also been getting hard, should I time them or no? Thanks for your reponse and help.

if your stomach is hardening or tightening and there is no pain then that is braxton hicks or practice contraction. The pain your describing could be due to your babys head rubbing on your pelvic flooe muscles, it can sometimes feel like an electric shock down there and is also quite normal, but if you are concerned you should go and get yourself checked out

This does sound like it could be labor.  Especially the hardening of the tummy.  I personally didn't have sharp pain, it was more like an increase, peak, then decrease.  Not sure how else to explain it.  I would start timing and I would make sure you are ready.  I see you have another child....is this similar to that labor experience?  If at all in doubt or concerned about the sharp pain, do not even hesitate to go into L&D.  You never want to take chances.  Good luck, hope that little boy is coming out now!!  Please keep us posted.
