What's the heartbeat???   How many beats per minute....if it's a high heart beat it's a good sign.   Unfortunately, my dear, only time will tell what will happen.   Keep your hope up!

Pam is right your gestational age is base on your LMP and you are  closer to 8 weeks.....was there any cariac activity???

The CRL should be between 9 to 15 mm at this point.   In fact 3 mm is too small for 6 weeks, 3 mm is actually closer to 4 weeks gestational age.

It looks like they are going to rescan you to see what happens.   So at this point you just say your prayer (if you believe in that)  and keep your fingers crossed.  They will probably keep rescanning you to see if this is a viable pregnancy or if the pregnancy fails.   Miracles do happen so you never know.

According to your LMP you should be in your 8th week of pregnancy now.  Did your doctor say you were 6/7 wks? Your next scan should be more telling.   I found this info below for you, I hope this helps!

Generally from 6 ½ -7 weeks is the time when a heartbeat can be detected and viability can be assessed. A normal heartbeat at 6-7 weeks would be 90-110 beats per minute. The presence of an embryonic heartbeat is an assuring sign of the health of the pregnancy. Once a heartbeat is detected, the chance of the pregnancy continuing ranges from 70-90% dependent on what type of ultrasound is used. If the embryo is less than 5mm CRL, it is possible for it to be healthy without showing a heartbeat, though a follow up scan in 5-7 days should show cardiac activity.
