For me, what helped the most was simply breathing. Use every contraction as your cue to breathe and most importantly, RELAX your body (namely your cervix). Tightening up when you feel the pain is the worst thing you can do.
That's just my personal experience, but I'm sure you can Google other pain management methods. Surely there are many other things other women have done. Good luck.
Thank you @greeneyes .. I will definetly take that into consideration. :) by gas...you are meaning the **Gas..mask...in hospital?**
Try to relax as much as possible on contraction's and try the gas and air when you get a contraction. I was induced with my first pregnancy and the contractions I have been told are more painful when induced anf I managed with gas and air. It depends on your pain threshold you may surprise yourself.
Lol!!!! I feel you! This is my 3rd...as well...and my last experience was horrible. I freaked out....with every on coming contraction. ...very bad!!!. I just wanted to relax...
This will be my 3rd baby and the only coaching I can give is GET AN EPIDURAL!!! :)
