Can't wait!

Tomorrow we get to have our 20 week ultrasound done. I can't wait to find out if it's a boy or a girl. It's been 20 years since I was pregnant with my son. I'm curious to see how much ultrasounds have change. The one thing that hasn't change is that you can't go to the restroom until after your ultrasound. That's the part that I'm most worried about. I hope I don't sneeze alot tomorrow. Lol I may bring extra clothes just in case.

They said I didn't have to have a full bladder, but that I couldn't go 30 minutes before the ultrasound. Considering I have a 45 minute drive, that may be torture for me. But at least we are moving soon and I will be closer to the hospital.

From what i know you no longer need a full bladder in fact the opposite. I had my 20 scan yesterday and we found out we were having a little girl. I feel so blessed, good luck on your scan and I wish you all the best. Hope your scanner is a nice person, my one was absolutely horrible.....she was rude and condescending

I totally worried about that too! They ended up taking me early and I'd only JUST finished my water but they still got all the measurements. It has all changed, I was 15yrs since my last, you'll have an amazing experience! Oh I did wear an incontinence pad lol!! Fortunately didn't need it! :)

I have never needed a full bladder for any of my scans. In fact, they have me empty my bladder for the anatomy screen (20 week ultrasound). By then, baby sould be plenty large enough to discern the uterus from the bladder...
