Are these contractions?
Does labor ever start out with painless contractions? My whole stomach keeps tightening but it doesn't hurt. I'll be 38 weeks tomorrow
with my last pregnancy mine went all day with no pain then in the arvo they started to become painful and she was born at 6.15pm 30 mins after arriveingat hospital via emergency c section
But it also doesn't necceserilly means that. .. My sister is pregnant with her second , 38wks, and has those contractions for days....

My friend just had a baby three weeks ago and said her water broke and she had painless contractions for about three hours before feeling any pain at all!
