Chinese Chart for getting a boy or girl

Question

How many of you took a look at the Chinese Chart to see if you were supposed to have a boy or girl?  Success/failure rate?

It was right with both of mine and if its right again I'm having a boy, but Shettles would lead me to think I'm having a girl...yeah...I know...I'm supposed to wait for the u/s...but its so much fun to speculate....

well since my twins were conceived 2 days appart I took it for both possible conception dates and according to it it said 2 boys but according to the intelligender test is showed 2 girls and from what the Dr can tell i'm having a boy and a girl

I did that with my last pg and it was great...  but with 2 girls I had to know this time and it is another girl

nothing was right for me, chinese chart, ring, bishop, sonogram. they all have a 50/50 shot so it is all bogus to me. This time i have opted to be 100% surprised. does anyone do that anymore ? LOL

hey I just wanted to throw something in.. i know alot of ladies are excited about their 20 weeks scan.. dont get too excited because theres a big chance you wont be able to tell due to baby laying wrong... i set myself up pretty bad and i was really sad when we couldnt tell im 26 weeks and still dont know

oh good! =) what's the boy's name? mine was gonna be Alexander... (daddy didn't have much say on it... but sort of liked it...) and when we found out we were having a little girl, I just KNEW it was gonna be a Madisson... there was no turn of page in there! funny how that works... the name came to me even when i was expecting my first angel (but grew wings too soon....)

I have one of each already and they are such a joy...and a pain....and I luv em to death...

LOL...at least we agree on the boys name...we're still fighting over Zoe or Phoebe for a girl...

jenandjon... hon, i know we all, in the bottom of our hearts have a preference, but just don't set yourself for dissapointment. You want healthy first, and then whatever destiny-God-life-what ever you want to call it- sends you.... right?

well girls see.....I'm kinda happy that it didn't work for people....cuz I really want a girl...and the chart says BOY....so until I get my 20 week u/s I'll be guessing like crazy....LOL....I've told my DP that we have to limit clothes to 10 for a girl and 10 for a boy and then we have to stop...I'm at 3 and he's at 9....LOL...he says we're gonna have to raise the limit...Glad I've got him to shop at children's used clothing stores....

I have one friend that the chinese chart worked for and another that it didn't. Their calendar is also a little different than ours ( lunar months), so you would need to take that into consideration when doing this chart. I looked at it and also did the ring thing, but it doesn't matter , I am gonna be happy with whatever God has blessed me with. It is kinda fun though. Good luck guessing. :-)

none of mine were right with the chinese thing.  the ring on the string worked for me everytime...cept i don't know what i am having this time yet.  :)  all that hocus pocus is just for fun....like vsents said, you have to just wait and see.  it is fun though, my husband makes me lie on my back and do the ring thing at least once a week!!  He thinks it is amazing.

Don't go by that... i guess it's just for fun?? some ladies here set themselves for dissapointment since they take it waaaaaay too seriously....
