Cold Before Labor ??!!??

I am 35 weeks, and just started developing these cold like symptoms.. stuffy nose, irritated throat and just feeling cramps and not myself.  "I HEARD" that means your going into labor soon or your losing your membranes.. im kind of confused. Has anyone heard this before ?

Im 36 wks and i can feel a sore throat coming on and i do have a slight head cold and have had period pain cramps on and off ( which at the moment are bearable) and fake contractions the last few days. Im scheduled for c-section at 39 wks due to high risk pregnancy but everyone is saying theres not a chance ill make it to 39 wks. Im ready to pop. I wonder where u heard this and if theres any truth in it? It could be just that we are getting sick and thats that.
