Communities question

35 + to me meant you were over 35 years of age, yet I see younger woman who are 35+ weeks pregnant using this board as well, not that I care who posts just curious if I interpreted the communities incorrectly

I am about 5 wks pregnant now and really couldnt be more excited. But I haven't had any symptoms besides frequent urination. Is that normal? I kinda wish I had other symptoms cuz it makes the pregnancy feel more real. Should I be worried?

Hi, folks,

The title does refer to age, because each age group tends to have concerns/interests that are a little different from the others.  Anyone's allowed to post in any of the groups, though, regardless of their age.    Hope this helps!

I think it does refer to age but I visit them all lol. Sometimes out of boredom or sometimes i think i clicked on one group but must have hit the other. I thought i had hit the 24-34 group until I started scrolling through the topics lol.

Also, I'm 28 years old and I usually stick to the 25-34 forum. But occasionally I'll skip around. If I keep seeing the same posts over n over, or NO posts for a while, I'll skip around to another forum. I think that's why others do as well. Boredom or just curiosity.

I never thought of that! I've assumed this whole time it was referring to how many "weeks" pregnant you are. Made me wonder why so many women 4-6 weeks pregnant were posting on the 25-34 pregnancy forum. It never bothered me. I was just always curious about that. But it referring to AGE does make more sense! :/ Wow I feel like an airhead haha

I am not as far along as you ladies but I did have some dizziness from weeks 8 - 10. My doctor told me it could be a few different things but the culprit was more than likely fluid shift. My SIL had some and her doctor said it could be spells of low blood pressure.

It does refer to age, but I also think some of the younger mums to be go to the older forums to get answers and more encouragement. As I've seen a few things on the younger aged forums that have been quite nasty in the past.
