1st ultrasound

I went for my 1st ultrasound yesterday but the doctor could not see the baby. As per the calculation,  im 6 week pregnant and should have been able to see the baby, but the doctor said that maybe we had caught the pregnancy early on. She took the blood work to check the HCG level and have asked me to come again for the 2nd blood work on Thursdays.  She will compare the hcg from the blood work and then tell me about the baby. I don't know if this is normal!  Im praying....

Where did the 6 week calculation come from? LMP or sac size?  Probably just too early. Like the others say, just watch the hCG level and scan again in about 2 weeks.

After the 2nd hcg test, my doc told me that it might be a possible miscarriage as d hcg level was not normal. I went for my 2nd ultrasound and boom, I saw my baby and heard the heart too. The doc said that she was very surprised. My miracle baby is doing absolutely fine. Thank God. Thank you so much.

I agree. Before 7 weeks it's hit or miss if you can see the baby or even the sac. Hakuna Matada! Wait a week and all will be fine. I feel it in my heart!
