Could I be pregnant

I am a mother of five children.  I had my last eighteen months ago.  I had a ceserean section and signed papers to have a tubal done.  A day after my birth my doctor came in to do his pre-op exam and said to me" Did we do a tubal",  I was astounded and responded by saying I didn't see what was done but that I signed papers.  When I went for my six week postpartum exam he overly stated to me "well no more children for you', it was like he was trying to compensate for his error.  This made me even more curious whether it was done.  I am now late and experiencing symptoms of pregnancy.  Could I be?

I agree with PamelaBee - it would be a good idea to review your medical records to see if the procedure was done.  If it wasnt, then pregnancy is definitely a possibility.  In extremely rare cases a tubal  is not 100% effective and a pregnancy can result but this is very, very, unusual.

Have you taken a HPT?  You can always review your medical records through the hospital to see if the procedure was/wasn't done.  Good luck!
