Cramping in early pregnancy

Hi - I don't usually post on this site, so I probably look new!   I am usually on the ttc after m/c site, but I've recently gotten a bfp and am scared stiff!  I don't want to bother the lovely ladies ttc about this.  I have one DS already, and you'd think I'd remember everything from that pg, but I'm just terrified after my recent m/c.  Anyway, I have cramping on a fairly usual basis (mostly in the afternoon/evening), and it's pretty mild, but it's there.  Today I have had it on and off this morning.  I am about 5w5d and am not spotting, but I did have an early m/c in March (without these symptoms).  In fact, in March I lost all my symptoms, and the next day m/c.  Today, I still have sore bbs, increased appetite, food aversions, nausea, stuff like that, but I'm cramping this morning.  I read on the net that menstrual like cramping can be normal. Then, I read that menstrual like cramping is absolutely not normal and to call my dr. immediately.  I'm freaking out.  Does anyone have any opinion, or has anyone experienced this?  Thank you for your thoughts.

Definatly normal.  However, I understand completely why you are scared.  I am pregnant again and just m/c 4 weeks ago and every little "twinge" has me petrified.  Try as much as possible to relax....pregnancy after a loss is really scary.  Good luck at your scan, and I will keep fingers and toes crossed for you!!!  Amanda

Cramping in early pregnancy is okay, esp if you're not spotting or bleeding.
