Cramps & bleeding at 8 weeks

I have been experiencing mild cramps and light bleeding since yesterday. I'm wearing a thin pantiliner and have to change it about 2 times throughout entire day.
Is this a sign of a miscarriage coming on or does my body think I'm getting my period?  I only say that,  because I read online sometimes it happens.
I'm crossing my fingers it's going to be fine.

With my first I had bleeding at 8 wks, & was convinced I was losing it. Had ultrasound & baby was doin great, bleeding was leftover implantation & leftover blood is what I was told, stopped after 4 days. And baby is now a healthy 3 yr old! Best wishes

Go to the doctor, don't delay. The same thing happened to me at 9 weeks and I lost the baby.

I had some very light bleeding and cramp and then went prescheduled ultrasound at week 8, which showed nothing. However the pregnancy was still positive. A few days later I made myself some herbal tea to ease the pain but somehow the pain got worse. By the end of the day, I had to go to the doctor because of the increased bleeding and pain. The doctor said I had a miscarriage, which probably happened before my ultrasound.

you're 8 weeks, and you change the pantyliner only about 2 times a day...i never had a misscarriage but shouldn't the bleeding be heavier by now? by second day?
spotting is normal this early.. but if i were you i'd go to the emergency and make sure everything is okay.. and you'll get an early peek at your baby :))
