Dehydration

Im 36 weeks and had an appointment today. I found out I was 1 cm dialated. Also, I went to the hospital to monitor my baby girl because of symptoms and contractions I've been having lately. Come to find out all of the symptoms and contractions were due to being dehydrated which is odd because I do drink at least 8 cups of water. I guess a little advice to you mommas from what my doctor said: Drink 10 glasses of water a day.

Oh I forgot to add that before adding Pedialite, I was drinking 60-80 oz of water day.

I'm 27 weeks now, but a couple weeks ago I talked to my doctor about the Braxton Hicks contractions I was having. She suggested after every bottle of water to drink a glass of Pedialite and so on & so forth. She said I needed more electrolites but without all the sugar that comes from sports drinks. I gotta say, the Braxton Hicks stopped & I haven't had one leg cramp since!
I totally recommend adding Pedialite.
