Dialated!

I am 37 weeks, 3cm dilated and 70-80% effaced with a soft cervix... Can any ladies share how long after 3 cm it took for them to begin active labor???

I am a Lil nervous BC my fiance and I are planning on getting married next Thursday, I'm not sure if I'll make it til then...

Thats a good start!  I have been having throbbing in my lower back on and off but no real contractions yet!  Getting soo impatient!!!

I am 39+1 weeks.  I have been 3 cm dilated, 80% effaced, babys head engaged, super soft cervix and my membranes stripped twice all since 37 weeks and i have no signs of labor yet :(

I wax at three for a few weeks and was induced at a little over 41 weeks. Hoping my second goes faster.

I didn't get checked until labour started at 39 weeks. They sent me home as I was between 2 & 3cm. I got him my water broke & when we got back I was 6 cm. It really depends on your body & the way you'll labour. I've seen some woman on here who have sat a 'x' cms for weeks :)
