Down sendram

Hi , when I were pregnant 9 weeks I went to the Er and made for me ultrasound , she saw that the baby's neck skin is thick and that is an indication for Down syndrome. Now I am 11 weeks and my obygn made for me panorama scanning test to see if there is anything wrong . Do you think measures in 9 weeks is correct ???

Just remember that whatever the outcome, a baby is a blessing and you will love your baby no matter what. At first it may he a shock but you can do research and learn how to deal with it. I have a friend with a boy who has down syndrome and he is absolutely beautiful, he is doing everything a child of his age should be doing. I also hope you get the answer you are hoping for. God bless x

Unfortunately that's all you can do i know it feels like forever waiting. I was so anxious wsitinbg and then when I got my results I was devastated it wasn't what I had planned. But if I'm honest I wouldn't change my son for the world it is a little difficult some days but what parent does have difficult days. Good luck to you I hope you get the result you want x

The measures are accurate but that is only one sign and it's not 100% that it can mean that. My son has Down's syndrome and he had a few markers. Like the absence of a nasal bone.  I wouldn't worry to much tho not until you have your panarama test done.
