Due Date - Calculation

I'm confused about which due date to use.

My LMP was 01/15/09 I have 26 day cycles, o'ing on cd14

MY LH+ surge was 01/26/09 which would mean I would O 01/27 or 01/28/09. We BD'd 01/26/09 (only time that month)

Using Online Calculator I get 10/20 or 10/21/09

My second ultrasound came up with a edd of 10/24/09, 03/11/09 measuring 7wks4d babies heartbeat 156

My first ultraound came up with a edd of 10/20/09. 02/27/09 measuring 6wks3d, although that is the one they couldn't find the embryo either so not sure if I count it.

My doctor is going with my due date for now (10/20/09) but does this mean the baby is measuring smaller than it should be?

What do you think? should I stick with mine or theirs? I'm pretty certain on conception dates. I know almost no baby is due on their due date (although I was :-O)) but I just want to know which one is the more official one.

Go with your doctors.  Most due dates change between 1-2 weeks anyway.  Very few women have their baby on the original due date.

Yep, I agree with Pam.  Even though they date your pregnancy as 40 weeks from first day of LMP, we all have slightly different cycles, and ovulation times.  If you have a 26 day cycle, that can change things a bit.  The ultrasound is more accurate.  Your Dr. would have let you know if he was worrying about measuring behind, and it sounds like all is just fine!!
