How do I know if I'm getting contractions? What do they feel like? I'm mitt displaying yet, that's for sure. I'm a first time mommy.
You may not actually know at first. With my first my water broke and I didn't have contractions until at hospital. My second they started at 6am and i just thought i was having poop cramps and went to bathroom and back to bed. They woke me up a couple of hours later and i realized it was the same feeling (started as weak cramps that got more intense). By about 1130 my stomach was tightening as well so went to hospital. With my third i had labor pains for three days but they were weak and i thought it was Braxton hicks. It turned out to be back labor and was driving and stopped to use bathroom. In the five minutes it took me to go in use bathroom and clean up i had three contractions. Went to my sister's house closet than hospital and told her to drive me to hospital. Had him for hours later.
