Max or Isaak?

Ok so I'm 32 weeks pregnant with a baby boy due to arrive early July... we are down to 2 names.

Keep in mind that our last name is super short and sounds a little like Bond, that we need an internationally pronounciable name AND that my 1st son's name is Lukas...

so what do you think? Max or Isaak? I'm afraid that Max is too short combined with a short 1-syllable last name will sound like a private investigator from the fifties... and Isaak is too biblical, and that I will have to spell it everytime cause we love the idea that both our sons would have a K in their names...

please help!

I am absolutely no help here, because I really like them both.  I tend to like names that are on the traditional side without being overly common, so I would probably have to say Isaak.  But I really do love both of them!!

I like Isaak better than Max.  However, it keeps reminding of the guy who played on the popular 80's show The Love Boat. :)

I went with Isaak, but not because I don't love Max. That's my baby boy! But, with a short last name, Isask sounds better to me!

I surprised myself by going with Isaak.  Initially I was going to go for Max for SURE.  But when I thought about it, I really like Isaak.

I voted for Max but my baby's name is Noah - straight out of the Bible!

I'm a little biased for Max as it's my dog's name - I hope that doesn't sound awful but I dearly love my Max.  He kept me sane during my fertility treatments & he's special so i love the name Max.

I voted for Isaak. I like Max also, but I think it has become very popular in the last couple of years.  I'm not sure if that matters to you or not, but I just thought I would through that in.  I'm not really one to talk (type) tho... my son's name is Jacob and that is VERY popular these days.  I knew it before he was born, but I had already fallen in love with the name by the time I found out how popular it was.
