Shesherm

Hey Sheila, Just thought I would say hi and see how you are filling your time!!  Any more contractions or anything?  Has she settled down now?  Not much new here - just playing the waiting game!!  Last night I think I had my first braxton hicks contraction.  I woke up with my belly super tight from my ribs to my hoohaa and I felt totally nauseous.  I just sat there for a minute until the urge to puke went away and then laid back down.  I have felt my belly tighten slightly before but not like this!!   I "think" she is head down now since I feel little hands and fingers move down lower than ever and I think I can feel a rump up by my ribs.  (who knows though I could be totally wrong!)  Anyways I thought maybe this is why I had the BH contraction...maybe she is starting to get ready for the big day!!  Are you getting much rest??  Are you able to do anything (light housework or laundry) during the day??  I do feel for you - although I would love bedrest for about a week or so, I'd probably go a little stir crazy after that.  Anyways I hope you are doing good and finding ways to fill your time.  When do you go back to the doc??

ugh - I think I would settle for one week of bedrest at this point - can we all camp out together - LOL - wonder if my doctor would put me on bedrest for a week if I requested it?

Good to hear that you are both doing ok - I've been wondering about you both - seems like none of us have much time lately to be on here - I like the name Isabelle - very pretty - I think we might actually be close to picking a first name - let's hope it doesn't take us another seven months to come up with a middle name - happy 32 weeks early to both of you!  Can't believe you two are ALMOST there and will get to be holding those beautiful girls very soon!

Oh I know - it is a very hard time of year to be on bedrest with the holidays!  Of course shopping gets exhausting real fast for me now!  For Christmas I am taking major advantage of online shopping!  I don't have too much left to do for the baby...I finished the bedskirt this weekend and my dh got the chandlier up.  Only thing I am debating now is whether to buy a rocking chair or maybe the armoire to go with the furniture set.  My MIL is having a small shower this sunday so after that I will have a better idea of what is left to buy but there shouldn't be too much.  I have a list of things and am slowly crossing things off as I get them.  Mostly minor things left.
We are still thinking of names but will probably go with Isabelle.  Maybe Jean for the middle name (after my mom) but we are still debating.  What about you - do you have a name yet????
My next appt is on Wed just with the regular OB.  No big deal as everything seems to be going OK.  Just sort of annoying since they don't really do anything and last time I had to wait forvever in the waiting room (the doc had and emergency c-section right before my appt of course!)  I ended up seeing a resident instead.  I am actually liking the residents better - they take more time and don't mind if you ask tons of questions.  They don't rush you out.  Anyways I hope you are doing good.  I know bedrest is hard but at least they were able to stop or slow your labor.  I'd rather be on bedrest than have a premie (but like I said before 2-3 weeks early would be GREAT!)  Take care and enjoy dreaming of baby!!

some days I hate my computer...it is so hard to type lying down I had a HUGE post to you and it disappeared....errr
Lisa,
Contractions are still going on...I too would swear they are Braxton hicks because I just reach down to feel her and my belly is hard...other times I can feel them coming on.  I'm actually gonna ask the perinatoligist TODAY if I could be having both and that is why my belly fells hard ALL the time

hehehe I think our babies still want to sheare something so they are in the same position...I can definately feel her bottom at my ribs and she is head down..they did 2 U/S in the hospital..but i guess she could have moved...They say they move less now because tey have less room..yeah right and her kicks are so much stronger..The other day I swear she flipped over.  my whole stomach rolled in 3 lil waves it was the weirdest thing to see :O)  I am alternating between the perinatologist and my obgyn every 2 weeks these days...so I see one or the other EVERY week.

Bed rest was nice for a few days but now it ***@**** are only 4  weeks of school left until winter break and I would have had 2 weeks off and thought forsure that I wouldn't return after the break cuz she would be earlyLOL..plus you have plenty of time to LAY around and think of all the things you need to do but can't, all the holiday shopping you are missing but can't afford since you are out 10 weeks early, not to mention sit and wonder/worry just how early she will be.

Have you and DH decided on a name?  What do you still have to do?  When are you back to the DR? As you can tell I suddenly have lots of time so my posts are super long LOL
