Evening primrose oil is a vitamin they sell at a vitamin store its a gel capsule you take three a day some women also insert one in there down stairs and break one open and rub your cervix woth it. I hear it isn't used to induce labor it just make delivery easier, faster

Hi I used it starting al about 39 weeks. It didn't work right away but I do think it helped. when I went in to labor I had a fast easy labor about 6 hours and it was my first child. it certainly didn't hurt. good luck  . my midwife also recommended this to me so I don't think there is anything wrong with  doing this as long as your full term.
