Life of Cooked Chicken in Fridge

I am a vegetarian that started craving chicken since pregnant.  Well, I don't know too much about it but I made some baked chicken last Sunday (not this past) and made chicken salad with it today.  It was probably 8 days old.  It didn't smell or look bad or wasn't slimy.  It was ok.  Now some people are telling me that it was too old.  Can this get me or the baby sick???  I am starting to geek out about it.

I agree. We use the 5 day timeline in our house for leftovers and that seems to be fine.

In the fridge I'm sure it's fine, but yeah, like 4-5 days for something like that I would say...Don't freak out, you'll be just fine :)
