This is pretty common.  I went through periods of it myself.  I found a warm bath before bed and just some calm relaxing time helped.  Also, make sure you are comfortable.  At around the halfway mark I found a body pillow helped a great deal.  If this and the other suggestions given above don't help, do talk to your Dr.  All the best.

I had the same issue--I had horrible insomnia at times. A snack often helped, like a small bowl of cereal. Reading also helped. I also would put the tv on super low and force myself to close my eyes and just listen but not watch. This seemed to help as well. Good luck! So been there!

Hi,

I had that problem with both pregnancies. Unfortunately it is just one of those pregnancy things.  Lie down and try to relax, even if you can't sleep.

I found sometimes that a small snack helped me sleep.

If you really can't get any sleep, contact your Obe.  Mine told me it was ok to use benadryl (but not every day) to get some sleep if I was really having major difficulty.
