Fetal dollars

hi mommies. I am new to all of this. I am 38 years old and had years of infertility. Without trying I got pregnant. This is my second pregnancy but it is my first baby. I recently purchased a cheap fetal Doppler. I am only 9 weeks so I was wondering  when I will be able to hear anything. Very anxious. Thanks mommies.

My baby moves around too much to hear the heartbeat for too long. When I tried to have my husband listen, he couldn't hear anything and it freaked him out.

Quitama it is likely you were hearing your own heartbeat because the embryo doesn't have a heart at 4 weeks.

You might be able to hear it at 10 weeks, but it will probably be more like 12.

Probably closer to 12 weeks. Right now the only way to hear heart beat is through vaginal ultrasound.
