Red raspberry leaf just tones the uterus, it will not help soften the cervix or put you into labor (neither will pineapple actually, unless you eat like a dozen whole pineapples in a day). Red raspberry leaf is usually recommended I'm the second and third trimester but won't cause you to miscarry of used sooner, some women actually tale it for morning sickness. I myself have been drinking it since 20 weeks.

My doctor told me I could not start drinking it until 37 weeks because its used to help speed things up. It softens your cervix. Thats why they say drink the rasberry leaf tea and eat fresh pinapple and it will help put you in labor.

I thought you weren't to drink it in the first trimester incase it caused miscarriage? Or has this changed now? I'll be starting to drink it after 28 weeks just to be safe. I'd hate anything to happen.
