Foreign Object Released Vaginally

Last night during a bathroom visit a foreign object came out of my vagina. I have had vaginal births, 1 in 1991 and the 2nd in 1993. I had a C-section in 1997 with my 3rd child who was breech and an emergency c-section in 2002 with my 4th. The doctor who delivered my 3rd and 4th child has been my OBGYN since 1997.
I complained in 2002 about my cycles being unusally heavy since my last child and he prescribed some birth control pills to help. He did the same after my PAP in December of 2006. I noticed in December that I had a yeast infection and it seemingly wouldn't go away. When I inserted the tube for the Monistat treatment some of the med slid right out and I didn't know why. I applied it the same as always. I decided to give it a week or so and wait til the holidays were over and schedule my PAP this month. While using the restroom last night I felt something coming down but I knew it wasn't a tampon because my cycle isn't on. When I looked in the toilet there was a green latex, rubber looking object covered with a cottage cheese like film (I'm guessing yeast) I retrieved it with a gloved hand and have placed it in another glove to show to a doctor. I'm not sure who to see. I've had a bad feeling in my tummy all day and have made an appointment with a new OBGYN that my cousin uses but she can't see me til February 27th.  Any suggestions? I'm in shock and embarrassed by this!

This piece of whatever it is, is definitely not a condom. We don't use them because my husband had a vasectomy after the truama, of us almost losing our last child. We knew that we didn't want any more kids. I asked and signed for a tubal after the last birth. However since my son was born via an emergency c-section because they lost his heart rate, he became priority. We are grateful that our son has grown into a happy go lucky 5 year old and he evened up our bunch. I have 2 girls, who are 16 and 10 and 2 boys, who are 14 and 5.  My son has endured so many doctors visits and a few surgeries. I was so busy caring for him I could never make my appointment for a tubal, so we got a referral for the vasectomy. Due to the emergency birth and my son having to be revived and etc...it's possible that they rushed and unintentionally, left something behind. I'm just in shock and worried that I may have other problems as a result of this.

Hi, I'm near Buckhead (in Cumming). I haven't been sure about my OB/GYN but they've come very highly rated (thru Northside Hospital) but I also have another referral for one that is in John's Creek (Emory at John's Creek) that have come very highly rated. I agree w/ all that have responded...get to the doc asap and I would NOT go to your same doc b/c they may (may) just try to cover the whole thing up. Private message me and I will give you the referral names for my two OB/GYNs and I'm dying to know if I am going to the same practice as you!!! I also agree that if you express the urgency of the situation (and say that your infection is ACTIVE so that waiting until 2/27 is simply out of the question) then I would go to an Urgent Care or ER, not because what you have is an emergency but so you can side-skirt the system and get seen by someone quicker.

How bizarre!  Are you thinking that they left something in your uterus during your last c-section?  I hope your body can get back to normal now that this foreign object is out of your system.  It appears that you are implying that your ob/gyn made a mistake.  If it takes so long to see another gyn, maybe you can go to the ER or maybe the new gyn will see you sooner if they know the circumstances.  Let them know that you're dealing with a pretty severe infection, what you found and what you suspect  I think it warrants getting immediate attention.  Please keep us updated as to what you find out.
Good luck!
