Getting induced with high cervix that isnt ready gonna be long and rough?

Getting induced at 39 weeks, only dilated 1cm but cervix still hard and high. How did your induction go? This is my 4th kid.

I have been induced with all for of mine and more than likely this one. My cervix was high up. They give you pitocin through an IV that gets the contractions going and by the time your dismayed to a certain CM they will break your water with a long plastic tanned stick that that hold in between their fingers and that gets it going faster. You shouldn't have any problems.

I got induced at age 32 due because of me being over weight and having very high blood pressure and I was 41 weeks mine did not work out as plan for them I was induced on Monday and had to take high blood pressure medicine plus they put medicine in me for the inducing long story short I had my daughter on the third day by emergency c section cause she was not looking down she was looking up and stayed a 5 cm for 24 hours so had a c section and was put to sleep cause medicine was not working on me for numbness

I honestly am not sure placement of your cervix will cause things to be more difficult.  Induction happens when medication is given that opens the cervix no matter where it is.  While this is my best guess, ask your doctor for confirmation.
