@ destinyb108, thanks for pointing that out. First of all, the person who posted was inquiring if she could induce  and the first 7 comments were all advisory. It is through experience and knowledge that we share with each other here and not necessarily being nice.

The answer is no.  There r things u can do but will help along if the baby is ready.  Such as walking a lot, squats, sex.

Its funny how people post in a forum for other people to comment yet some people say if you don't have anything nice to say don't say it at all.. Sometimes its not about being nice.. In our impatience sometimes we need others to say, hush and wait your turn.. No one is trying to be mean.. I think most of us are speaking to her pregnancy symptoms that are telling her she can't wait, rather than to her personally.. I'm 35 wks and completely feel your pain.. But we can do this! Look at that miracle of us already completing 35wks.. You can do it!  :-)

Im 34 and 3. Dr is worried I might go into labor before next 3 weeks is up, minimum!  He told me to aim for 39 weeks. I couldn't imagine trying to have my baby in the next week. This is my 5th and I still suffer from HG and have been horribly sick since Halloween morning.  I have a bad gallbladder that needs to be taken out as soon as I give birth as well as suffering from SPD. Still willing/praying to wait it out. I don't care how tired or miserable I am, if I knew waiting for 4 more months would help my baby out I would, let alone 4 weeks.  You can do it. You've come this far.

We all know that the 35 week information on the app says that 99 percent of babies born at this gestation survive without any major complications

Actually you are passing very important antibodies to your baby in these last weeks that are going to help protect it after its born. And thats not nessacarily true. Your baby could have breathing problems from being born this early. It is just way to early to consider having your baby.  I know its tough but your almost there! Plus none of those inducing yourself works anyway! Hang in there

37 is considered term but actually still early term the 1st 2 weeks of pregnancy ur not actually preggo thats the time frame it takes most women to ovulate and dates can be off by a couple weeks so u actually be having a kid earlier than anyone thinks. This irks me so bad wait for the kid till term or else dont have kids. Because ur baby has a good kick count means theyre ready to be forced out? The last things to fully develop are lungs brain n liver FACT. Thank god licensed doctors are the only ones that can do inductions or csections and any home induction attempt hopefully wont work for women that are ohhh my back hurts n I cant sleep. How do u think a newborn feels struggling for life. Lots of women would and do anything to try to get to term cuz of complications those are true heros and the definition of a mother putting child first. Medical science is a wonderful thing and lots of ladies get lucky but why risk it? The end im done sorry I cant stand seeing this kinda thing u wanna rant n connect with others about how miserable u are dont say how do I force preterm labor.

Relax people, she just asked a question. I'm 36 weeks and miserable. This is my 3rd kid and if I went in to labor today I'd be thrilled. I'm so exhausted and crabby. I had my daughter at 35 weeks 11 years ago and she is happy and healthy. She was jaundiced but she didn't have any major complications except a low birth weight but at 5 pounds 9 ounces I hardly think she was too small. Just because someone is anxious to not be pregnant anymore doesn't mean they're selfish.

U can use google to get tips on how to induce. But they'll only work if ur baby is ready.

Simple...if you don't have anything nice to say don't say anything at all. If you don't have an answer to the question then keep it moving. She could have worded it "is it safe to try to induce at this point in my pregnancy?" Then all of these comments would make sense. But she didn't.

Why would somebody give advice to this question when to do so is advocating a premature birth of a baby when the baby clearly isn't ready to come out yet???

Love how there's like 7 comments and not one person answered your question. I hate it when people put their two sense in when no one asked! Lol I'm right there with you girl 35 weeks and ready to get the baby out!! This is my third baby in 4 years so imagine how tired my body must be. If I knew a way to induce right now I'd have my baby already lol

Could you be more selfish.. Let your baby come out as healthy as possible.. Relax and wait like the rest of us

At 35 weeks, don't try to induce. It is still early for the baby. Please be patient and let nature determine.

I had my baby at 35wks due to complications with me. He spent time in NICU before going to special care before I could finally have him with me and take him home. A year on, still going to specialist appointments. So much better for their lung development to let them bake as long as they need.

That risks infection for you and your baby. If you want to be healthy about it, just walk a lot and pray the baby won't be stubborn
