Mine started at roughly 12 wks of pregnancy with my last child and went in the third trimester, they were like clockwork.  Every 11 days I would have them and they would last two/three days then disappear until 11 days later.  They are not harmful at all and I was offered tablets to take for them but didn't bother, so if they are really getting to you the specialist can offer you something.  I'm pregnant now and occasionally I have a fast pulse, but no skipping beats, which was what the last problem was... it was scary but when you know it won't harm you, you can relax!!

They are very normal during pg.. I had them prior to my pg and then they increased during my first and second trimester.. they say due to the hormones and the blood flow increase.. I did have them alot during my labor and delivery I think due to no paiin meds!!!
They are not dangerous unless you are passing out during  them which is very rare.. more annoying and FRIGHTENING than anything I know!!! I have had them for years and you never just get used to them! Hang in there they very well may just go away or t hey could increase... just try and remember  not to panic and no that they wont hurt you!!!!! Focus on that beautiful lil angel on the way! My baby and I made it through just fine! as you two will two =)

I had PVC's throughout my pregnancy. They were especially frequent during the 3rd trimester. I had a 24 hour monitor, ekg and finally a echocardiogram. At 32 weeks I was vacationing in Hawaii and finally went to the ER because I was sure there was something very wrong with me. They watched me for 3 hours and said "yes you are having very frequent PVC's but we don't treat it during pregnancy unless your blood pressure is unstable". My Doctor told me it was related to my hormone levels and would disappear after delivery. My daughter is 4 months old now and the light of my life. She is completely normal and I had no problems during delivery. The PVC's disappeared after delivery. Hang in there and try to enjoy your pregnancy!

I was experiencing the same thing a few months ago, just before I got pregnant. They called them "PVCs" (premature ventricular contractions) and said they were not dangerous and were completely stress-induced. It still happens occasionally, but not often enough to bother me. If you feel your pulse, do you feel skipped beats every few beats? That's what was happening to me. Anyway...if you've seen a cardiologist and they are of the opinion that there is no problem, I would try very hard to relax about it. I started doing meditation and relaxation techniques, and it helped a LOT. Are you under more stress than normal? Let me know if you think this might be your issue...and I really recommend the meditation thing. It's a life-saver! Good luck!
