Hair loss during pregnancy

Ok, since I first got pregnant my hair has really improved.  I didn't experience any loss in the fall, like I usually do, so it looked so full and shiny... Now I started losing a fair amount under the shower, when I wash it.  I wouldn't say it is something abnormal, it looks like the amount I usually loose in the fall.  Funny think, the loss started right after I reintroduced my prenatal vitamins some weeks ago.  If I wasn't taking the vitamins I would think I was experiencing some deficiency, but I'm taking them every day!  I read hair loss is common after the delivery, when hormones level go back to normal.  Should I be worried? Anybody losing hair?

Thanks!

i never lose it during, but after giving birth....my hair drops like crazy!!!  :(  If it isn't excessive (bald patches) I would'nt worry.  if it is still happening after the baby...well, of course get your thyroid checked.  :)

I shed hair like crazy, pregnant or not. Probably nothing to worry about, but you might consider having your thyroid levels checked.
