Hello all!

I have been reading this forum throughout my pregnancy, but haven't really introduced myself. My name is Jennifer and I am 38 and pregnant with my first viable baby. I had 2 miscarriages last year. I am currently 31 weeks pregnant today with a baby girl named Vivian. We are so excited! I am also getting nervous and a little overwhelmed. I have a skin care business where I do facials and waxing, and I am hoping to work until June 1st, is that crazy? I am due June 9th. I know that I will definitely have to cut down my hours as I am already pooped out. I love reading all of your stories, they have been very inspirational. I'm sure that I will chime in more often!

Hi I'm Brandi  I'm 22 and I'm only 20.3 weeks with my twins but as far as working to the end I see no problem at all working til the last minute if you're up to it....no me personally I'm thinking another 8 weeks and I'll be ready to quit already a full day of work wears me out and all I want to do when I get home is sleep and my house proves it....but since I'm more than likely gonna have my babies sometime after 32 weeks 28 weeks seems like a good stopping point

Welcome!.It's nice to meet you,I'm with 40smama go ahead and give it a try. Just have a back up plan....I was at a community yard sale at a near by town and walked the whole town a week over due with my DD (I was 30 then) people would ask when I was due and I'd tell them last Tuesday they would send me along to the next yard sale pretty quick. LOL.Hopefully I'll feel as good this time (I'll be 35).....I love the name Vivian.

Please chime in as often as you can and congratulations on your little girl - my name's also Jennifer (small world?).  I don't think you're crazy to continue to work until the 1st but if I were you, I'd be prepared to stop a couple weeks earlier if needed but if you cut down your hours like you indicated, you're more likely to make it until the 1st.  I know what you mean about feeling 'pooped' out - I seem not to be able to get enough sleep!  Anyway, congratulations!!! - jennifer (36w5d)
