HCG Levels !

Hello All, i know this kind of question has been asked many times, but still was not able to get any clarity. We have been trying for many years and in the last couple of years have gone thru 3 rounds of IVF, with the last one being on 26th Feb 2010. 3 frozen embroys were transferred. My HCG levels are as follows:

12th March 2010: 133 (not good, but at least positive)
15th March 2010: 120, levels dropped, the doctor said, it is not good. She advised to go for another round.
17th March 2010: 170. (Fortunately or Un-fortunately)

Do not know what to make out of it, the doctor says continue the medication and will do another test on 20th March 2010.

Can anobody (based on their experience), please let me know, what i may be going thru or where am i headed to?

I had my hcg levels checked on 17th and they were 28,000.  I am 7 weeks and 1 day. They did US on 20th and saw only the sac, and bloodwork on hcg was only 33,000.  I'm scared!!!

I found the following info on Hcg levels when I was TTC. May be helpful to you.
HCG: U/L Non-Pregnant < 2

Ranges/week : Lower : Median : Higher
4 : 40 : 350 : 2000
5 : 400 : 1800 : 10000
6 : 1600 : 8000 : 33000
7 : 7000 : 25000 : 65000
8 : 20000 : 50000 : 100000
9 : 40000 : 65000 : 120000
10 :46000 : 70000 : 125000

Wow...what the heck?
Those numbers are fine...this is very wierd. All you can do is continue with the HCG levels at this point and wait for an u/s.

In continuation to the above post, I got my HCG done again, here are the results:

20th March 2010: 278
23rd March 2010: 520

do not know what the make out of it. Consulted another doctor, one said to stop the medicine, other said to continue. Any comments?

HCG should double every 48 hours.

Maybe you miscarried one of the embryos but are still carrying at least one embryo??
