really weird symptoms 34 weeks pregnant

ok... I am almost 35 weeks pregnant with my 3rd child and I keep going into preterm labor... I just got out of the hospital 2 days ago and i am now home on bed rest. while i was in the hospital they had me on Mag, as well as pain meds and  antihystimine for a sever migrane..... since i have left the hospital i have been experiencing severe dizziness, a tingling sensation over my whole body... mainly concentrated in my face and head as well as my chest..as well as spotty vision.... when i lay down and close my eyes i feel as though i am falling or sinking like i am still druged. I have never had such an onset of weird symptoms during pregnancy and i am worried Its livable but extreamlly anoying not to mention very difficult to ignore so i can get some much needed sleep...any ideas would be greatly appriciated because its driving me crazy

thank you
"frustrated mommy" jamie

I'm not sure about the side effects of the meds you are on but those symptoms sound like Vertigo. I'm not pregnant...(YET) but I had Vertigo about 2 months ago and what you described sounds very much like what I was going through. I would call the doctor just to have it checked out. Better to be safe than sorry. Best of luck to you!!!

Jamie - since you're on magnesium sulfate, I would think some of this is coming from the drug - the pain meds definitely can cause dizziness & the falling/sinking feeling.  But I really feel you should tell your doctor what's going on.

I know how you feel about needing to get some sleep - I'm sorry that you're especially not able to do so.  I don't really have any ideas how to cure it since you're already on pain meds/antihistamine meds so talk to your doctor (wish I could do better) - jen
