Hello... I'm 14 weeks pregnant and this morning when I used the restroom I noticed some.light brown spotting...I started freaking out and went.to the ER right away. The doctor did an ultrasound and blood work and said everything was fine to follow up with my OB in 2 days. I am still freaking out even though I know right now that everything fine. Has anyone else expierenced this if so please give me some advice I can't stop worrying.

spotting can be common, and brown is good (!) as its old blood, it most probably came from your cervix, maybe you had sex a day or two before, anything like that can irritate your cervix and can cause a little bleeding/spotting, sometimes you can have a cervical errosion as well, and as the tiny blood vessels are close to the surface while preggers it doesnt take much for one of them to burst, but you did the right thing going to get checked as although it can be common, any type of bleeding should be checked out :)
