Pregnancy Symptoms Vanishing?

Hi ladies!  I have been on the fertility boards for a while....just got a BFP through our IVF.  I am 5w6d.  I feel like I am going crazy.  Yesterday I felt pregnant-cramping, back pain, sore bbs.  today I feel GREAT...not even sore bbs.  This seems to happen every few days.  Anyone else had similiar experiences?  This is our first pregnancy and we go for our first ultrasound next Thurs.  thanks girls

Congrats to you!  How reassuring to see it twice!!  I don't go again until the 12 week mark.

Congrats on seeing the heartbeat!  It is sooooooo exciting.  I saw my baby's heartbeat today for the second time, I'm 8 weeks and 2 days.  

My symptoms come and go too and I actually get a little scared when my boobs/nipples don't hurt.

Hi girls....

We saw and heard 1 little heartbeat on the ultrasound today!!  I am 6w5d and the heartbeat was 119.

My symptoms came and went all the time.  It used to scare me, but they always came back (usually stronger) in a few days.  I now think of it as "babies' day off"..lol.  It's normal.  Congrats on your pregnancy, can't wait to hear about your ultrasound results.

Hi Allie,

I'm 10 1/2 wks and my symptoms have been vanishing and returning since I was 7wks.  I had an ultrasound today, and was happy to see a big baby with a very strong heartbeat.  So yes, it does happen and may continue to do so for some time.

Thanks for the words of support!!  I will feel 100 times better once we have our u/s on Thurs.  I am having some heart burn today and i am CRAZY because I am actually happy to not be feeling so well!

Hi Allie, I had this too, woke up one morning and didn't feel pregnant - i was about 7 weeks at the time and was convinced i had miscarried so much so i went to the doctor and asked for a blood test and an hour of waiting came back with a fantastic level which put my mind at ease completely. you always worry that history will repeat itself but i am sure in your case as it was in mine all is fine and dandy!!!

I know exactly what you mean! As far as symptoms go I got nothin! I can't wait to go to the dr to see my little miracle so I quit thinking I'm dreaming! Kinda hard to not obsess though guess this replaces my every morning temp lol

Thanks Jen.  I am so glad to have all you ladies to reassure me that I am not crazy!  I have noticed the last few days that I have no symptoms during the day but come 7pm or so they show up.  So who knows?  I am going to try to stop fixating!  Thanks again!

I totally understand about the vanishing pregnancy symptom thing.  I went through this two years ago after my IVF cycle - drove me crazy (and dh!)!.  I would jump up and down (in the privacy of our bedroom) to see if my boobs were sore.  Sometimes they were, sometimes not so much.  And then I would call and report my 'finding' to poor dh - sometimes he had so many calls - poor man.

It's completely normal for this to happen - I'm hardly one to speak but try to relax - you're doing great! - jen

LOL-I have been groping myself too wanting my bbs to be sore!  Too funny.  I am so paranoid because it has just taken us so very long to get pregnant.  I am sorry about your prior losses but congrats!!!!  Wonderful news.  :)

that can be totally normal!!   I also have had 4mc's after fertility treatmentst to get there.. this pregnancy (we are 31 weeks) i had days that i would not have many pregnancy symptoms at all - i'd keep grouping myself wanting my bb's to hurt! haha.. but everything has been just fine! :)    sometimes it would last 3 days without many symptoms.. but the fluctuation is totally normal! : ) good luck and congrats on your miracle!!!

Thanks...I am just so paranoid because it has taken us so long to get to this point.  I keep telling myself I would see blood or something if anything was wrong.  I am sorry about your 5 miscarriages but congrats on little Gavin!

With my experiences (I had 5 miscarriages prior to having Gavin).  If your symptoms come and go that it fine, that is normal.  With three of my miscarriages, I new everytime something was wrong.  ALL my pregnancy symptoms would just vanish and I would have this huge burst of energy and I felt totally back to myself.  It was like someone took a pin to my breast and deflated them, they didn't hurt anymore and I just felt myself again.

So if your symptoms come back tomorrow, you just just be fine, try not to worry too much, I just new my body and new something was wrong everytime.
