How long to get amnio results for lung maturity?
Does anyone know how long this takes? OB wants to do amnio at 36 weeks to check for lung maturity, and if the longs are mature they want to do C-section in the evening....so that makes me wonder how long does it take to get back those lab results?
I had one done at 37w then went to quiznos.. I was eating when they called me and said.. come in tomorrow morning and have a baby haha.. it was about an hour
It doesn't take very long. I was supposed to have one done but my water broke right before the procedure so no amnio.
