Rash in early pregnancy

Hi ladies, could someone please help me understand????!!!!!!! I started itching about 2 weeks ago and now I am about to go crazy. I am  itching like mad along with these little red bumps all over me. I went to the ER a week ago, they treated me with a steriod injection and gave me some steriods to take for five days (which I did not). Now I am in misery. I have been using a topical but I only get minimal relief. I was told by that OB nurse at Dr office to try Bendryl and hydrocortisone but the Dr at ER sd that Bendryl won't work. Any relief tips out there, or suggestions? HELP.

Don't think its that, here is what I found:
Papular dermatitis of pregnancy

Abnormal blood hormone levels are linked with this disorder especially chronically raised levels of gonadotrophins (hormones produced by the pituitary gland of the brain, and which regulate sex hormone levels) and lowered cortisol and oestrogen levels.

Symptoms and signs

What: an extremely itchy rash consisting of red, raised spots that look like insect bites. Crusts (scabs) cover some of these spots. The spots do not collect in groups.

Where: all over the body.

When: this rash can erupt at any time during pregnancy and then spots continue to appear until childbirth when they clear rapidly.

Complications

This condition causes no complications in the mother, but studies suggest that fetal death rates are increased.

Treatment

High doses of corticosteroids are necessary

Do you think it could be PUPPS?  I know this is more commonly a problem in third trimester, but I think it can start any time, yes?

Hi, I had that same type of itching in my past pregnancy minus the bumps and my Dr said that it was because of the stretching of the skin and also from it being dry.  The only thing that said I could do was keep it moisturized and believe me, everything I tried didn't help either.  And if you are scratching, it will only make it worse. So, what I bought this time and I haven't started itching (knock on wood) is Palmers products and I use it faithfully. Also, try not to use alot of harsh soap (i.e dial, zest, etc.) I use dove and take a quick but thorough shower. I find that it has been helping and trust me, I know how you feel.  Try these things and let me know if it helps any.  Much love.
