I have a cold: what medication can I take?

My nose is all stuffed-up, it started yesterday and so far I have taken no medications for that. I spent a very bad night with very little sleep, I was hoping I would be better today but no change. Does anyone know if something like Afrin is OK during a pregnancy? If it were a week day, I would call my Ob-gyn but of course we're Saturday!

Thanks for the answer but I have been using a Neti pot for 2 months now because of bad sinusitis and unfortunately it does not help with my current cold, I used it several times yesterday and the flow from one nostril to the other one is very slow! I'll look into the chest Vicks, I have not tried that yet!

When I was pregnant, I got a REALLY bad cold with nasal congestion. It was horrible. I didn't want to take medication, so I discovered a "Neti Pot." It's a little pot - kind of like a tea pot but small - and you use a warm saline solution (that comes with the pot) and pour it into one nostril. The water flows out your other nostril. It sounds gross - and it kinda is - but it saved me. It was wonderfu.. And you can do it as many times a day as you need. The other thing I did was a damp, warm washcloth on my chest with vicks rubbed on it. I know a cold is miserable when you can't take meds...but you can do it! Oh yeah...also you can take Airborne.
