I need nursery help...posted pics!

Hi ladies, this is probably so off topic, but I'm trying to get my nursery completed.  I'm so impatient.  I'm only 26wks; you would think I'm due next week the way I keep demanding my hubby to go ahead and paint the accent wall when truth is I havent even picked out a color.  So here's where you come in: it may be hard to see from the pics, but my colors are sort of a mint green and soft chocolate.  Which color should my wall be?  What ever color I paint the wall is the color I'm going to get my throw rug and rocker glider in.  I'm such a girly girl my husband hates it!

I was thinking of doing the chocolate on only one wall, but cant decide if I want it on the wall with the huge window or the wall that the crib is on.  Which ever color I pick I wanted a big fluffy rug the same color for the middle of the floor.  It's a small room so I dont want to over do it, but it gives me something to do in order to kill time while these next 13wks pass by!  I need to learn how to close the blinds; I'm pretty sure the neighbors know everything that go on in my house! :)

I have the same bedding for Rhett's nursery.  We painted the walls light green and have cream colored beadboard and trim half way up.  It turned out beautiful.

the darkest brown I see is the teddy bear? and It looks to be one shade lighter then the carpet? Its not very dark at all. you have some shadows in your curtins.. thats good. Looks like it will be really nice.

I just finished my last wall.. and darn it if Lowes didnt screw me on my color.. so now I get to go back.. Im just glad I have the card to show them.. ugggg.. I had to stop!!!!!

are you painting all the walls or just one accent wall?  If just one, I would go with the chocolate brown since the walls look like a beige color now anyway.  I love the curtains and the windows and think a chocolate brown would look really nice with that - but I wouldn't do the whole room that dark.

we arent even pregnant yet but have almost completed the nursery,we did pastal yellow,white trim,and a choc brown rug.we are going with twinkle,twinkle little star theme.

My nusery wa already done, but my 2 yr old whom was sleeping in there until several days ago, decided to do a little art work with her sisters markers! Yes I am a bad mom. You cannot take your eyes off her for one minute!!! I am sooooooooooooooo in for it!!!

aaaasw... yea.. I love the pink and brown look togather. oh wow... you can still go the brown and then later turn into a football look...lol..
your colors there are tough. good luck.. My mind is on girl stuff..heehehhehe..

yea.. I was hoping for a boy this time because already have girl, go figure... at least I know somewhat what to expect with it being a girl... smile

If I can get this room done and find a name... I think I can rest alittle..

I'm having a big head boy!  I went and picked out the cutest pink and chocolate theme b/c I just knew I was having a girl.  But low and behold the penis shall rise again.  This is my 3rd boy so I am out of the baby making business!

Even the damn dog is a boy!  I cant catch a break.

omg.. yes. this is the second time Im painting.. I changed my colors!! lol.. I cant make my mind up what so ever. thank goodness I think Im going to like what im doing now.
I just wish my mind would come back... I get soo stressed out over the stupidest things these days.

Yes ma'am you will!  Throw in a air bed while you're at it.  With two of them crying there might be a few nights you find yourself having a slummber party! :)

I would go with the darkest color you have. It makes it more cozy. are you having a boy or a girl? Just make sure its a soft dark. and satin finish, or even flat.
If its a girl? I would even go with pink (soft) trim. or use a lighter beige for the trim.
color is really tough.. If you get the wrong shade would really mess it up.
when I picked my colors out I took the stuff at Lowes and matched with cards. the miteral I had they computer wouldnt pick it out so I was there a good hour color matiching. ugh.. but I think I got all the right colors. Its all about the tone.
Looks like its really going to be pretty no mater what color you pick. Love the windows!!!

Girl, you would think I'm over here doing brain surgery or something.  My husband keeps talking about "its just a room".  I told him he's jealous b/c he doesnt get his own room.  Damn men! :)

I think sage or the same color of your curtains would be nice....I sorta think the sage would be to much.
