I'm back and it's a BFP!

Well, it's been awhile.  I gave birth to my first -- a boy -- on February 13, 2010 at the age of 42. He's now 10 months old and a complete joy. Then I found out I'm pregnant again! I'm only 4 wks, so we'll see what happens. I obviously have high hopes. I'm absolultely amazed and truly joyful, no matter what the outcome.

Thanks for everyone's well wishes. My 6 week u/s is tomorrow morning -- looking for the heartbeat. With my ds, they couldn't see it until a week or two later.  I'll know the results right away.

Third beta - 1990!  Was supposed to be around 1800 so we're just thrilled!  So far so good!  Wish me sticky baby thoughts!  Another blood test on Monday then first u/s on Thursday. Fingers crossed...

Second beta - 230. The office is closed over the holidays so I have to go for bloods at a different lab on Wednesday but won't get my results until Thursday, then it's back to the clinic on Jan 3. I think this is worse than the tww.

Amanda, I can't believe he's almost 1! I updated my profile pic so you can see his Christmas pic. He just looks so grown up! I can't believe that in just 10 short months he went from being a baby to a toddler. It's just amazing. He brings us great joy and has set the bar high for his (cross your fingers) sibling.
