He is a dork isn't he?????? Girl, I don't even know what the he77 he's talking about - again what a nerd! Thanks for the excitement, hon. I miss talking to you everyday (or pming). Of course I wouldn't slap you but I might have to slap WW (ya know who I'm talking about, right???)
you WILL miss all of this - trust me - you'll miss feeling Noah move inside you but you'll be so excited to feel him moving in your arms that it will all be ok - JUST YOU WAIT - LOL - had to do it - plus I know you won't slap me for saying it - lol - can't wait to meet our little prince!!!! I am so excited for you and your family - even that dorky hubby of yours - (keep your legs crossed - that's funny)
Thanks, V - you're the best!!
You always remind me of where I came from to get this little baby but I swear i'm gonna b!tch slap the next person who says to me those famous last words: "Just you wait!"! They're not even gonna know what hit them.
Teresa - thanks for asking - am feeling the same, darn it but it's a little more bearable after talking to all of you ladies. Seven days and counting - i wonder if I'm gonna miss all of this? - jen
hehehehe gee thanks friend!!! lol
vsent... alls I can says... is to tell them.. Thank goodness for milestones!!! lol
Hope you are filling better now jen.. If not? Let vsent have it!! I think she can handle it... smile... I loved that movie too.. Steel Magnolias!! one of the few movies where you are laughing and crying at the same time..
Oh yeah!!! big time!!! I hate when people try to scare you! telling you: oh, this is nothing, you wait until that kid comes out!... or, oh, just wait till they grow up enough to talk back at you, or they are teens.... ARRRRGH!!!
people!!! let me just start from a baby! would you!?!?!?! i know it will be NOT so easy... but guess what! having a baby (i believe) is FAR from being hell.....im sure girls who have struggled like me have that different 'insight' of things.... and the way we look at it, might not be the way a mother that became pregnant that easy may be looking at it....
I hate those comments! it's so discouraging... but hey! really nothing can wipe this smile off our faces!... yeah, i mean, we have the pukes and the pains and the insomnia, but guess what! it all goes to hell when we feel this little one move in our belly... or when we day-dream of what he/she's gonna look like! isn't it true???
Girlie, don't listen, just keep your journey peaceful and joyful.... remember how much you fought for this.... don't ever forget where you're coming from... doesn't matter where life takes you as long as you know what you've accomplished! =)
Love you mucho mucho!!! =))
Hello Savanha -
Thanks for the encouragement! I will love 'hanging' w/my newest little boy. I'm under strict orders from dh however to wait until the 22nd to have him. This is his first baby so he has no clue that babies come when they come! He keeps telling to keep my legs crossed which is funny since I'm delivering by c-section - what a nerd!
Hey Babes...
I can only imagine right now, but I have known some women that it hits like it is hitting you and it is the worst. So...I hope your son will be wit ya real soon so mommy can hang out with him and really enjoy her food. ;o) It's down to the wire, so hopefully he'll be here any minute now. I pray ya feel better soon.
Savanha~
Ladies - Ya'll are so sweet to me!!!!!!!!!!! I ate some Mexican food (oh well a tiny, tiny amount) and I said to Dh "I better not be upchucking anymore after this kid's born". Do ya'll think it's my age? It's funny because I haven't really noticed that much difference between this pregnancy and the last one 15 years ago except I was skinnier :-((. But that d@mn nausea really, really sucks but it helps to have friends like you guys.
Luci - do you think your pg is kicking your @ss because you're pg w/twins, girl??? Your post made me giggle and all of my 'online' buds - I can't tell you how good it made me feel to read your posts - I had tears in my eyes the whole time!! Remember that movie "Steel Magnolias" (I know you guys are old enough to remember it :-)) Anyway, remember when Dolly Parton's character said (basically) crying while laughing is her favorite emotion?? I now know what she means.
I'm not feeling any better, but it doesn't seem to matter so much. I now wish my family and friends would quit saying to me, "Just you wait until after that baby's born!". Girls, I wanna kill them everytime I hear that! Anyone else going through that? Anyway, Vanessa, 'cyberhugs' right back attcha & hugs to all of you guys!! Love ya, jen
Oh I feel for you! My nauseau came back in the 3rd trimester and it was horrible. I hope you feel better soon :-)
Jen
you can complain to us any time....UGH sorry you are still feelin poopy :O( but it wont be long now and YOU ACTUALLY FORGET ALL ABOUT THE H#LL YOU HAD TO GO THROUGH....I PROMISE :O)
correction. 11 more days :)
oh yeah, tell dh to bring you your favorite meal up to the hospital.
oh jen, I'm so sorry. I had no idea you were "still" struggling with this. I can only imagine how frustrating that must be. :(
Just think you are almost there now. Only 10 more days. :)
Hang in there girl! not too much longer.. a healthy baby is better than one than has t o stay in the hospital for being to early! you can do it! you will be surprized how fast you feel great after gicing birth.. my body too was so ready to be done it was like it was reborn after I had Tyler! and it has only been two weeks!!! Time wil go by quickly... and he will be here before you know it! and it will be all worth it!! So gripe all you want we all have and we are entitled!!! being pg is alot of HARD work!!!!
Kelly & Tyler
Jen, most of us are in your shoes hun and we understand totally. It wont be long and you'll have your bundle of joy soon. Have you tried Reglan? Its great ! My doctor prescribed it to me for nausea and I couldn't of did it with out it (well I could of but I would of been a b!tich about it) Hang in there we're feeling ya.
Aww Jen,
I'm so sorry your feeling so yucky! It seems like you've been having to deal with that for quite some time and you shouldn't feel bad about complaining when it gets bad! I hope it lets up some for you before your little man comes. Your almost there!!!!
AAWWEEEEE honeeeeyyyyy!!!! come here!!
*squeezes Jen into my bosoms*
(hope i didn't break your nose with my breast bone....)
Sweetie, you have ALL the right in the world to complain about something SO nasty like the 'yuckies'!!!! it is horrible to feel and be in a constant state of BARFING and feeling like c.rap!
Honey, please take one step at a time, one day at a time... lay down when you need to, tell dh to go to......@##* when he doesn't understand you (well, you know what i've been thru these days with mine! wink wink) and pamper yourself as much as you can! because HELL! we deserve it! you are making a little human! that deserves ALL the merit in this world!
I've been having some nausea lately too, it comes and goes in spurts.... but what i've noticed is that it's worse when i feel constipated! and now, not even freaking metamucil 'cuts it'!!, so i eat a shoot load of apples and oranges and that seems to work! (plus i get my sugar fix after lunch and at dinner! yum).... i like the 'gala' apples and the 'navel' oranges, they are so good! and when i feel regular, my nausea improves.
It's just getting harder for our bodies to keep up with our own system and our little one's system all together! and we are just going thru a waky stage right now, but just think about the pros.... feeling lil' Noah kick is probably all worth it, isn't it? =) see?
hunny, just one step at a time... we are all here for you and if you feel like btching about ANYTHING you want, just POST IT! =) and we'll be giving you cyber hugs!
LOVE YA!
Jen- I'm so sorry you are still feeling bad! I am nauseous every day but tums seem to help me so I take them throughout the day. I wish there was something that could knock all the morning sickness out but unfortunately they haven't came out with anything yet! They should.. don't they realize there are a bunch of hormonal women that need something NOW?! Not long now and you will be holding that beautiful little boy in your arms!
(Hugs)
Patty
aaaaawww... Jen.. Im so sorry your having to go threw that. I had a friend that went the whole time getting sick to her stomach with food. She was just a mess.
This is the first Im hearing of you... I didnt know. You go right ahead and complain.. thats what were here for.Every pregnancy is so diffrent, Its something we cant plan on. I have been lucky with my symptons.. I never got sick to my stomach with my dd nor this one. so I really dont have a clue of what your going thru. not even in the first trimsester.
I wish I could help you, and give you advice on what to do.. but with you being so far into your prego.. Im sue you have tried it all!!!
You are soooo close to the end... and It wont be long till you get to have that special package in your arms. Hang in there... It will get so much better for you.
oh jen, I am so sorry your feeling this way, You have every single right in the book to feel sorry for yourself, I had my DD when I was 29 years old, I am now 40 and this pregnancy is kicking my A$$.. its a whole lot different being pregnant at an older age, I just dont think our bodies can handle it as well, You go right ahead and bitc h all you want, you have earned that right, its almost over, you have made it this far.. I am thinking of you.
Luci
Thanks perty for the encouragement. Dh says I'm not allowed to have him before the 22nd - LOL - what does he know??? He thinks he knows everything.....
i think being nauseated and puking is worthy of complaints ;) maybe your baby will come sooner than later and you an be a tired mom instead of a sick one. i dont make it far in my pregnancies, 37 wks with my son and 34w6d my daughter. my fingers are crossed the next few days will go quickly for you
