I am so sorry for your loss.  After my m/c's, I also wanted to know the why's.  Unfortunately there aren't always answers, just happens sometimes.  Take good care of yourself, and I hope you get a BFP soon.  It is so comforting to know that so many of the women here went on to have beautiful babies and healthy pregnancies.

Take care and good luck to you.

I had a miscarraige from a blighted ovum a few years ago. 3 years later, I got pregnant again and just gave birth to a healthy baby boy 6 weeks ago. It's hard to go through, but I would think the chances of it happening again would be slim.  Sorry for your loss.

I am sorry to hear this. I had 4 m/c. The babies stopped growing between 5-8  weeks. One day we saw a heartbeat and then the next u/s we didn't. Come to find out I had several girlfriends that went through the same thing. When you get preg again. Ask the Dr. to check your prgestin level. I had to get shots ever week for 11 weeks once I got preg. I am now 16 weeks and baby is doing fine.

Good luck

To add to my last post, I hope things turn out for you.  Get lots of rest, take some time for yourself and try again when you are ready.  All the best!

I'm so sorry for your loss.

The same thing happened to me in November with my first pregnancy.  I miscarried at 12 1/2 weeks, but the ER doctor said that the sac was too small for me to have been that far along.

After my m/c, my doctor told me to wait 1 full cycle.  Then after a check-up, I was given the ok to try again.  I got pregnant 3 months after my m/c

Now I'm 10w1d and have my first doctor's appointment on Thursday.  I am so scared that it is happening again.  All I want is to see or hear a heartbeat.  I have been waiting a month for an ultrasound appointment, the waiting is torture!

Sorry you're going through this.  I've had three or four of these myself.  Nothing but an empty sac.

Usually it's caused by genetic issues with the egg, and usually it's a fluke and your odds are great for a successful preg next time.

Next time you get preg, maybe ask for an ultrasound early on (like 6-7 weeks) to put your  mind at ease.

Good luck and take care of yourself.
