First Pregnancy

Hello everyone,

I don't know where to post these questions. Forgive me if I posted it in the wrong thread.

My friend just turned 39. And she's still a virgin. Never had any relationship in her entire life. She is planning to get married soon. Her mentruation started when she was 12 years old. Her husband to be is very much worried if ever she would conceive a baby, what are the possibilities, risks in having it? Will she survived the delivery? She is an Asian and the guy is a 45 years old Asian too.

If ever she will conceive a baby, what will be the baby's outcome? What is the percentage that the baby will be or not be:

Retardate?
Mongoloid?
With deformalities?
Abnormal? and etc.

If ever, what precautions should be done to avoid this? Is there any food or vitamins that she should eat and take?

And lastly, what percentage at 39 she can get pregnant? Can she still be pregant at that age?

PS: Sorry my English. I just hope that you would still understand on what I am trying to say here.

Thanks to all!
God Bless!

Yes, I agree with PCarsey, chances are good she gets pregnant. some women that age are still very fertile and she will have the same risks other mature women have.

There is a good chance that she can get pregnant and have a healthy baby. Her doctors will keep a good eye on her and run all the tests that need to be done and together they can monitor the pregnancy and baby. Although I must mention, there are risks that are higher as we get older, and this is why a doctor will perform tests on her.

Good Luck to her!
