Is 2630 a normal HCG around 4 weeks?

I found out Friday 12/4/15 that I was prego and the doctor did a ultrasound. The tech said that she did not see a pregnancy. So, they did blood for beta.
This morning on 12/7/15 I went in for my results and they came back as 2630.
The doctor told me today that she thinks that I am having a M/C.
Can anyone help with the question of. What is your HCG level supposed to be at around 4 weeks? And, is it true that your cant see a pregnancy at 4 weeks?

That is really early to see something!
I wouldn't let anyone do anything to me if I was you!! Wait and see what your body does on it's own!
By 9 weeks I had Trans abdominal ultrasound and could see baby and heartbeat. I would not let them do Trans vaginal ultrasound, that's why I waited until 9 wks. If you don't let anyone touch anything delicate they can't "accidentally " mess something up! Just try to pray, relax, and optimize the things you can control like your diet! For instance eating lots raw spinach has shown to reduce chance of miscarriage, I routinely put 5 oz. Or more in my smoothie with assorted fruits. It is rich in folate. Lots of greens and fruits, raw nuts, whole grains, and try to avoid processed junk! Take a high quality prenatal like Garden of Life Raw prenatal made from organic whole foods!
I'm 46 and am happy to be at 25 weeks, take care ,wish you all the best!

I'm sorry your going thru this difficult time right now. The earliest I've been told and I saw my pregnancy was exactly 5 weeks. At 5 weeks we were only seeing the sac though. I was rupturing ovarian cysts and in lots of pain otherwise, the doc would never of scanned me so early. 6-7 weeks is when you should possibly see something. If this is a natural pregnancy please keep in mind that implantation could of been a couple days later then you might calculate so try not worry too much. Your second Beta at this point are what are important. i believe there is a site called beta base that gives the ranges on betas vs weeks. They very greatly and don't mean a whole lot till you compare them both. They should about double in 72 hours. Good luck, my friend. I will keep you in my prayers. Please let us know what happens.
