Just a safety reminder

Hi everyone!!  I love looking at everyone's ultrasound pics, it's so great to see those little beans growing and I know how exciting it is to share with everyone.  I have however noticed quite a few with mom's full names on them, and sometimes the lab where the ultrasound took place.  I was guilty of posting these myself and have now taken them down.  I know we all feel so safe in this forum as most of us have gotten to know each other really well. But please remember, we never know who is looking at them.  I am not posting this to frighten anyone, but we really need to be careful about posting identifying information on the internet.  This forum is visible to anyone, not just our regular members and well, reality is, there are some unstable individuals out there.  So please, be careful when posting your ultrasound pics or anything else for that matter, to leave out names and other bits of identifying information.

Many times clinics use the SS# because that is part of patient ID. Yes, never, ever have your ultrasounds up without cropping it or Photoshopping the ID info out.

Good luck to all the moms out there.  It's a beautiful time.

This is so funny, I was just looking at my us photo today and I noticed that it has my social security number on it.

Good of you to warn the girls about this.  I had no idea the scan picture had my social on it.  I may ask my RE about this tomorrow.
