miscarriage

I wanted to thank everyone for their concern. I did have a miscarriage this weekend. Went to the doctor this morning and he said the hematoma was huge and could not see the baby. They could see the heartbeat two days ago which devestates me. The doctor removed it and it was the size of a flattened kiwi fruit. It was a horrible experience but I have a wonderful husband who wants to try again. Not so sure I want to. Don't know if I want to go through it again.

I had a large hematoma. The size of a flattened kiwi. It ripped the baby out when it dislodge. I hate knowing that I had a healthy pregnancy with a 5 week 5 day baby inside me and a blood clot ripped it out of me. The ultrasound showed nothing but the clot on Monday when on Sat it showed a baby with a heartbeat. I must have passed the baby during the night. The doctor had to remove the blood clot. I had nothing to bury. I don't even have a picture of it. It was very painful physically and emotionally.

I'm so sorry for your loss. I miscarried at 9 weeks and still felt a huge loss. Take your time to heal and if u don't feel ready don't rush into anything. I took a break for 6 months until I was ready. Lots of love x

Thanks, I thought it would have a happy ending too. Especially when they said it had a heartbeat. We called it "bug" b/c I thought I had a stomach bug when I found out I was pregnant. So a girlfriend and I are going to get our first tattoo and mine will be of a beautiful ladybug. The body is shaped like a heart. I just wish I had a picture of it from the ER with its little heart beating. I hope it wasn't in pain when I miscarried.
