I was sick the day after mine. I was so tired and nauseous. My arm hurt and got red at the injection site. I looked up the side effects they were all normal side effects. You can also get a mild fever so as long as you don't have a high fever I would say give it a day and see if you feel better tomorrow. If you have a high fever yes you should probably get checked out. Hope you feel better soon.

If they didn't give you the vaccine info sheet you should be able to find it online.   Vaccine sheet will tell you symptoms of allergic reaction.  If it's a low fever I wouldn't  be concerned but high fever I would call and have the midwife paged/get in touch with whomever covers her.  That's scary that you can't reach the office.  I wouldn't like that.  Good luck, I hope you feel better.

In bad my vaccine before I got pregnant and definitely remember a very sore arm, that's normal. Were you feeling any cold symptoms prior to getting the shots? When I got the flu shot, my doctor said that if I was even slightly coming down with anything, it would worsen after the shot because your immune response devotes itself to dealing with the vaccination (a good thing) and leaves the minor thing to get worse. This is why many people think vaccinations, especially for flu, make them sick. Either way, take your temp and get some medical attention right away if you are running a fever. Feel better and good luck!
